The Vision

Challenge Description:
"I don't know if it was a psychic experience or what, but when we found his son, I had a vision. It was as if for just a moment the body was changed." - Monica Reyes (Empedocles). Using Monica's words from "Empedocles", write a story about what must have went through her mind when Luke Doggett's body was discovered and what she must have thought when she saw that his body had changed into ashes. The story should be written in the first person (through Monica's point of view) and must include a little bit of the actual casefile work. Keep the story romance free and focus on Monica's inner thoughts of what she just saw. You may include other characters, such as her FBI partner at the time, John and Barbara Doggett, even Brad Follmer.

G to NC-17 is accepted.
Length: whatever works for your story.
