8x14 "This Is Not Happening"

"I go on what I know, of course, but I try to stay,
you know, open."
"Well, let's just say I don't not believe. As I said,
I try to stay open."
"I just have certain spiritual notions. I believe there
are energies in the universe. It might sound kind of cosmic
but I think I'm sensitive to them. I mean, I get these feelings."
"No frickin' way."
"You're hurting for her, I know."
"I saw what I saw, John. I'm not going to lie to you."

Monica's very first scene, her first shot actually. How
well does that set us up for her character. Standing on
top of the hill looking very mysterious.
I just love when she's trying to hide her smoking habit
in front of Scully and Skinner. Then blowing it out with
a smile.
When Monica is driving in her car at night, she keeps looking
to her Morley Lights, trying to fight the temptation, but
fails and lights up. I just find that very funny, and you
have to love her facial expression when her car dies down
for a moment then starts back up. She looks out into the
distance and sees a spacecraft landing and says "No
frickin' way." wish a cigarette hanging out of her
mouth. I absolutely love that scene.
"Let's leave the past in the past." is the coolest
scene between Reyes and Doggett. We see our first glimps
of how they interact together and about the case they both
worked together in New York, Luke Doggett.
