Beirut 1983

Challenge Description:
Write a story about the Beirut bombing back in 1983 that Knowle Rohrer, and John Doggett and Shannon McMahon were involved in. For indepth information on the bombing I recommend you check out the Semper Fidelis page for information on Beirut, or check out We Shall Not Forget's United States Marine Corps information page. Cassie has a load more than what I have and she has done great research on this topic.

Must Include:
- The 1983 Beirut, Lebanon terrorist bombing at the Beirut International Airport where the 24th MAU U.S. Marine Corps Barracks were located.

- A reason for why Knowle said to Doggett "You and I go back a long time. You know I'd do anything for you." (8x08 "Per Manum")

- No romance in this story please. Let's focus on characterization. Although a hint at a relationship can be in the story as long as it is not the main focus/plot.

- Time stamp: Up to you, the writer. If you wish to have a flashback moment from the character, or if you wish to write your story as if it's happening in the present tense, that's fine and dandy.

Rating & Length:
