LIYE Back Online!

I've had some troubles with my web server and computer, but now those issues have been dealt with and I'm back. And I'm a terrible webmiss too - I've neglected this site because, well... I'm lazy and often times wonder if it's worth still running when the DSR community seems to have disappeared. But I'm probably wrong, so I'm keeping the site.

New challenges will be posted starting in June, and hopefully everyone will have more time to do it once summer is in full swing (for those of you lucky enough to have summer as a break that is). So stay tuned!

During this hiatus it could be a good time to work on those past challenges you didn't have time for. I take late submissions!

New month. New challenges. And I do take late submissions for all of the challenges (see all challenges)

Fan Fic Challenge: Spring Into Love
The Spring Into Love fanfic challenge should be a story about Doggett and Scully giving into their feelings for each other. The story should be in the POV (point of view) of either Doggett or Scully, or if you choose, both. There are a few requirements that should be in the story (use as you wish, you don't need to use all):

- the story must take place during spring time.
- a casefile or a day off from work.
- some kind of athletic activity.
- bees and flowers.
- "I can't believe this weather we're having."
- "I'm sorry, was that your shoe?"
- "You've never been to a ball game?"

Length: whatever works for your story.
Timeline: season 9 or after.
Rating: whatever works for your story.
Due date for this challenge is April 30, 2009.

Collage Challenge:
The theme for this month's collage challenge is Pastels. Using the images below, create a Doggett/Scully collage using pastel colors on a white background. Text, brushes and stock allowed. Must be 900x500 pixels. Due date for this challenge is March 31, 2009.

Icon Challenge: Going Green
It's near St. Patrick's Day, so I thought a "green" color theme would be fun for the icons. Simply make 3 icons out of the images provided and incorporate the color green (green should be the main color of the icon). No animation. Icon size must be 100x100pixels. Due date for this challenge is March 31, 2009.
